Description - This piece was so far my toughest challenge to date. It looks absolutely stunning in real life, but it was extremely difficult to create. Applying the silver leaf in this design proved to be a very complicated process. Please remember the wrapping of the silver leaf round the metallic blue texture is not painted it is thin metal layered by hand. Both the silver leaf and the metallic blue texture shine beautifully with light. This is truly a beautiful piece of modern contemporary abstract art.
